Remote sensing applications in Angola for mining and geological mapping

SM GEODIM will train technicians of Angola Geological Survey (IGEO) in space remote sensing applications in mining and geological mapping.
The training consists of several workshops in Spain and Angola, based on case studies for geological mapping, mineral resources exploration, integration of geological data and hydrogeological mapping using satellite remote sensing techniques.
This training program is frame within the National Plan of Geology of Angola (PLANAGEO), which aims to provide social and economic improvement in the country, through the advancement of knowledge of its mineral resources.
