Prevention and control of invasive species in the river ecosystem

From October 17-19 and 24-26, 2022, the course "Prevention and control of invasive species in the river ecosystem" will be held.
Technicians from National Parks, Hydrographic Confederations, Coastal Demarcation and Ministry of the Environment will attend, to bring together the threat posed by Invasive Alien Species (IEE), from the current legislation to the different species that threaten our fluvial environment.
Dr. Salomón Montesinos will give the masterclass "Remote sensing, drones and other technologies in the follow-up of IAS" in which, in addition to an introduction to remote sensing techniques and the available platforms to acquire data, will present experiences in detection and monitoring of Water hyacinth and Mexican Water lily in the Guadiana basin, and the detection of macrophytes in the Ebro basin.
