Asbestos is considered in Europe as a public health problem. The European Economic and Social Committee and the European Parliament have been sending messages to their member countries for years: THE ASBESTOS MUST BE REMOVED. For which, prior identification is essential.

In this webinar we will give the guidelines to start carrying out the asbestos census. We will structure the webinar in two parts, in the first we will deal with aspects of remote sensing of asbestos as the first step to carry out part of the census and identify the fiber cement roofs of the municipality. In the second part, we will delve into the asbestos inspection of public buildings and facilities. We will identify the installed asbestos and the level of risk of these public sites will be established, in such a way that the city council can have them managed before 2028.
